Discipleship Steering Group
Our Synod has a commitment to whole-life discipleship, led by our Discipleship Steering Group (DSG).
The DSG reviews and updates strategies for nurturing faith across all age ranges, promotes new patterns of activity to further the Synod’s mission, and seeks to encourage and challenge our local churches to identify their own priorities for growth and service. The remit of the DSG also covers Children's and Youth Work, Safeguarding, interfaith and ecumenical relations, and issues of justice and equality.
As a synod, we are in partnership with the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (LICC) and regularly plan conferences and learning opportunities for our churches. We believe it is possible for us all to identify small shifts that will influence our way of being church and living out our discipleship in our own contexts.
