The Role of the Trust
URC Thames North Trust is the legal entity that acts as the trustee owner for most of the local church buildings and manses situated within our Synod. It holds these properties for and on behalf of the individual local churches and the Synod.
The Trust carries out the purchases, sales, and leases of properties on behalf of local churches and the Synod, and assists churches with a variety of legal and property matters. The Trust is a registered charity and is recognised as a trust corporation.
