Leading your Church into Growth Conference — 23–25 November 2026
Three days for church teams to reflect, pray and plan for growth, at Highgate House, Northampton
Posted:
The URC Leading your Church into Growth (LyCiG) conference is running again this year. For over 30 years, LyCiG has been equipping and encouraging local churches, helping congregations across denominations become healthier, more outward-looking and more confident in their calling to grow. It focuses not on doing more, but on doing things better: more intentionally, prayerfully and effectively.
What the conference covers
The three-day conference is interactive and discussion-led, giving church teams space to reflect honestly on their church life and explore practical ways forward. It centres on the seven building blocks of church growth, including:
- Praying intentionally for growth
- Assessing the quality of welcome and worship
- Reviewing provision for children and young people
- Other key aspects of healthy church life
Short, inspiring sessions share biblical insights and practical ideas, and each church team leaves with a clear, realistic plan, renewed vision and confidence that their church can grow. Afterwards, churches can continue the journey through LyCiG Local, which works through the conference material at a slower pace with more of the congregation.
