We need 24 operational stewards to help guide people into the hall after they pass MCHW's security, and about 100 to help service communion.
It might be that some churches would like to volunteer en mass and young people would be welcomed to help with carrying communion trays.

In anything that you do, please note that you will need to get a ticket if you haven’t done so already. This is because we are not staffing the security at Methodist Central Hall Westminster.

There are 3 events on the day:
Open Church House, 10am-1pm
The Open Church House event at United Reformed Church House and Lumen in Tavistock Place has dozens of activities and crafts related to the jubilee including: a Living Library, the Mersey Synod with LICC/LYCIG, Free to Believe, GEAR, the URC History Society and Westminster College Cambridge, a Prayer Labyrinth, an Enquirers’ Conference, Greenbelt, a café, Christian Aid, Roots for Churches, Single Friendly Church, the Trussell Trust, an exhibition from the archives, Church Related Community Workers offering activities around Café Church, community work and engagement, staff teams offering conversations and discussion activities, Fresh Expressions activities and reflections, badge-making and craft activities, a puppet show, an exhibition of Reform magazine’s 50 years, the URC Bookshop and more.
Walk to Westminster
A self-guided walk for all ages from Church House to Methodist Central Hall Westminster with many points of interest along the way relating to the URC and churches in general. There is also a scavenger hunt for those more interested in pictures and not words!
50th Anniversary Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration, Methodist Central Hall Westminster
Doors open at 2pm for the service starts at 2.30pm at Methodist Central Hall Westminster, a very special service with Communion giving thanks for the first five decades of the life and mission of The United Reformed Church.
