Sandhya Pinn
It is with sadness that we inform you that Sandhya Pinn died at home on Friday morning, 11th August, following a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.
Most of you will be aware that Sandhya had been on extended leave since the end of March following problems with a new treatment regime. She had quietly, and with great dignity, battled the disease for twelve years. Throughout this time she remained cheerful and never lost her sense of humour.
Sandhya will be greatly missed, not only in her family and across the Synod. She was always gracious and caring, above all she was interested in people and always showed her care for the individual. Her great love of beauty in nature, art and literature was apparent in conversation with her and all who knew her were enriched by the relationship.
As well as the funeral service, there will be an opportunity to remember Sandhya and give thanks for her life and contribution to Thames North Synod at the Synod Meeting October.
Sandhya leaves her husband, David and two sons, Laurence and Conrad.
The staff in the Synod Office will be happy to forward cards and letters to the family.
Please keep the entire family, especially David, Laurence and Conrad in your prayers throughout this very difficult time.
Simply complete the form below and we’ll aim to respond within one hour (during office hours).
